QCINCA’s active involvement to guarantee the supply of critical products in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and cover essential and health needs
The company Química del Cinca (QCINCA) has been working from the very onset to ensure the proper functioning of the chlorine production plant located in Monzón, in order to guarantee the supply of basic products for the treatment of water for human consumption, the treatment of urban and industrial wastewater, essential hygiene products, foodstuffs and basic products for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as biocides that are suitable for disinfection and effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
QCINCA’s COVID-19 emergency and monitoring committee evaluates and manages on a daily basis as many actions as are necessary in terms of organisation, raw material forecasting, transport and distribution management of vital products, so as to actively contribute to the fight against the current CORONAVIRUS pandemic.
QCINCA has taken the necessary steps to ensure the continuity of supply of such products to its customers and is working with the relevant authorities to prioritise, if need be in the future, their availability to address the fight against CORONAVIRUS.
It thus informs all interested parties, employees, suppliers, customers, administration and competent authorities on the correct functioning of its business, without operational incidents, neither in the supply of raw materials nor in the delivery of orders, and on the implementation of the necessary preventative measures to protect its staff on an organisational, hygiene, logistics and distribution level, as agreed by the Ministry of Health and the relevant authorities.
