Product obtained from photochemical sulpho chlorination of linear paraffin range C18-C30 with previously evaporated sulphur dioxide and liquid chlorine. These products are relatively unstable to light, heat and heavy metals. They are insoluble in water, but hydrolyse slowing due to its action. They are soluble in alcohols and organic solvents and are flammable.
